What's the Tomahawk Jerky Difference?
Often traditionally mass produced beef jerky products use an inferior meat, contain a high sugar and water content, preservatives, artificial flavours and colourings.
The Tomahawk Jerky difference is evident as soon as you open the bag and find quality strips of hand cut beef. Lean cuts of local, tender Aussie beef are marinated in our mix of special spices and sauces, before being preserved naturally during the drying process. The product speaks for itself. All you really need to know is that our jerky is healthy and tastes amazing!
What ingredients do you use?
All Tomahawk Jerky products are made using lean Aussie beef. Our recipes are based on natural, flavoursome ingredients that hero the beef. Our products are preserved naturally during the drying process resulting in a product that's high in protein and low in fat. All Tomahawk Jerky products are free from preservatives, artificial flavours and colourings making our product a healthy snack for the entire family.

My jerky has a white residue on the surface. What is this?
Our beef jerky is a handcrafted product. Whilst we use lean cuts of beef, small amounts of natural fats remain in the meat.
As our jerky is preserved naturally during the drying process, some of the natural fats will solidify leaving small white deposits in areas that are smooth and will disapear away when touched. This is completely normal, perfectly safe and edible. In fact, it adds to the flavour of the beef.
See below for an example of natural fats that can sometimes occur on our beef jerky.
